Introducing the Velocity Made Good Podcast
Celebrating scientists, clinicians, and regulators at the forefront of global health
The recent symposium at the annual American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics meeting in Colorado Springs, Colorado, raised awareness of the progress in strengthening African regulatory agencies and research institutions and opened the door for further engagement and learning.
To encourage this engagement, we are producing a podcast series in the Velocity Made Good substack to introduce and celebrate scientists, healthcare practitioners, and policy-makers working at the front lines of global health to highlight their activities as a precursor to future collaborations.
These unsung heroes, often grappling with scarce resources, demonstrate remarkable ingenuity and persistence. They navigate the challenges of securing funding, support, equipment, and expertise, all to conduct groundbreaking research and bolster the health of their communities and nations.
I hope you will enjoy this series. I would love your feedback and suggestions on the format of the Velocity Made Good podcast and thoughts on potential future guests – as together we chart a course toward deeper collaborations in global health.
Please consider subscribing to the Velocity Made Good substack for information about future essays and podcasts.
